Azerbaijan gold output up 64.4% in Jan-Feb
(Minews) - Gold production in Azerbaijan during January - February period this year totalled 336 kilograms, surged by 64.4% from the corresponding period last year.
The country also produced 12.2 kilograms of silver during the first two months of this year, declined 79% from a year earlier, ABC.AZ reported on Monday citing latest report from the State Statistics Committee (SSC).
Azerbaijan produced a total of 2,111.8 kilograms of precious metals last year, including 1,872.5 kilograms of gold and 239.3 kilograms of silver.
