Iran planning to export more gold to int'l markets
(Minews) - An Iranian official said that the country's gold industry is ready to boost exports to hit new markets with its quality products.

Head of the Iranian Gold Producers and Exporters Union Ebadollah Mohammad-Vali said that Iran is exporting gold to Turkey, adding, Persian Gulf states which are close to Iran in terms of culture are good markets for Iranian gold.

He further noted that Iran is after wining up to five percent of the world gold and jewelry circulation share (respectively hitting 600-700) billion of dollars by the next ten years.

According to statistical figures released by the Central Intelligence Agency, Iran ranks 22nd in terms of the gold reserves worldwide.
