Issuance of 209 exploitation permits in Iran
(Minews) – Number of mining exploitation permits issued in the first four months of this Iranian year (March 21 to July 22) reached to 209 ones that provided more than 15000 jobs, according to Mine, Industry and Trade Ministry.
During the same period, 294 mining exploration licenses have been issued and number of mining discovery certificates issued was 225 ones.
Mining exploration costs in all provinces of Iran totaled 93.200 billion rials.
There were more than 5400 active mines in the country by the end of last Iranian year (2013-2014) from which over 420 million tonnes of minerals were extracted.
