Deputy Minister: Iran Planning to Attract More Foreign Investment
(Minews)- Iranian Deputy Minister of Industries, Mines and Trade Mehdi Karbasian Saturday voiced Tehran's enthusiasm for paving the ground for more partnership of foreign companies in the country's economy, specially in the mining sector.

Addressing a group of managers from the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO), Karbasian said one of the major policies of the Iranian government is to attract more foreign investors to Iran.

IMIDRO is a major state-owned holding company active in the mining sector in the country.

Iran is among the 15 major world mineral-rich countries and exports its industrial and mineral products to 159 countries, including Iraq, China, the United Arab Emirates, India and Afghanistan.
