Iran among top three participants of China stone fair
(Minews) - Iran was among the top three active participants at the 15th China Xiamen International Stone Fair.
Alireza Salarian, Iran\'s consul general in Guangzhou, made the announcement in a meeting with Xiamen\'s Vice Mayor Zhang Canmin on Monday.
During the meeting, Zhang elaborated on investment opportunities offered by Xiamen and hoped that Salarian could see more of Xiamen\'s free trade area during his trip and expand Iran\'s investment in the area.
Appreciating Xiamen\'s beautiful sceneries, he expressed confidence in further cooperation between Xiamen and Iran.
The four day exhibition ended on Monday.
To date, Iran has invested $2.47 million in 10 projects in Xiamen. The projects cover a number of industries, including the plastic products and electronic components as well as small-scale trade companies.
