Minews - Hormuzgan Steel's slab production increased by 10 percent

(Minews) - Slab production in Hormuzgan Steel Company increased by 10 percent last year in comparison with the preceding year.

According to the report of Hormuzgan Steel public relations office on Wednesday, the company could produce 1,172,334 tons slab in the year 1393 ( 2014) and increased its production by 10.92 percent as compared to the year 1392.

The company allocated 27.3 percent of total export of crude steel of the country and 26.6 percent of total domestic sale to itself.

The company has nomination capacity of 1,500,000 tons slab annually by thickness of 200 to 250 mm, width of 900 to 2000 mm and length of 6000 to 12000 mm.
