Investment in non-metal minerals up in Iran
(Minews) - According to the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade, the amount of investment in the non-metal minerals sector stood at $393,000 during the 11 months of the past Iranian calendar year (ended march 20), which shows a 21.8 percent increase compared to the similar period a year before, Mehr news agency reported on Sunday.

The amount of investment for the establishment of industrial and mineral firms stood at $2.7 billion, in which the non-metal minerals had the most share, the ministry added. Also, more than 16,363 permits were issued for the foundation of industrial and mineral firm during the same 11-month period.
