(Minews) – A total of 146 Iranian and foreign manufacturing units have showcased their products in the 7th International Gold and Jewelry Exhibition, that opened on Thursday by Vice President and Head of the Cultural Heritage and Tourism Organization Masood Soltanifar.
Chairman of Gold, Jewelry, Silver and Precious Stones Producers and Exporters Association Abdollah Mohammadvali said the objective behind organizing the 7th International Gold, Silver, Jewelry, Watches and Related Industries Exhibition is to present capabilities of producers and exporters in line with targets of the system, including resistance economy.
He pointed to the promotion of quality and quantity of gold and jewelry products as other targets of the exhibition.
The official expressed the hope that with the removal of sanctions both economic and political stability will be obtained and further prosperity of gold and silver market will be noticed.
Mohammadvali further remarked that 10 thousand gold and silver production units are active throughout the country, 6 thousand of which have received codes from domestic standard offices.
The 7th International Gold, Silver, Jewelry, Watches and Related Industries Exhibition was opened Thursday morning in the presence of Vice-President and Head of the Cultural Heritage and Tourism Organization Masoud Soltanifar and with the participation of 146 domestic and foreign production units.
Out of the participating units 140 are domestic and the remaining are from Turkey, Britain, Italy, Germany, Thailand and Japan.
