Iran indigenizes technology to produce antimoan ingot
(Minews) - Head of Iran Minerals Processing Research Center Seyed Shamseddin Siasirad said on Sunday that as 9th major producer of antimoan, Iran managed to indigenize the technology for production of the metal's ingot.
Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of a ceremony to mark domestication of the technology for antimoan processing, Siasirad said the project was commissioned in 10 months at a cost of 20 billion rials.
He said studies up to the stage of processing were done at the scale of pilot and industrial lab at Iran Minerals Processing Research Center.
He said each ton of antimoan is sold for 9,600 to 9,800 dollars and China is major producer of the product along with Russia, Canada and Australia.
