Minews - Iran’s largest gold mine on the verge of opening

(Minews) – Zarshouran mine, Iran’s largest gold mine with potential of creating 400 direct jobs and 500 indirect jobs, is on the verge of opening.

According to initial estimates, more than one kilogram gold will extract daily in Zarshouran mine.

"The gold mined can be converted to bullion and other products but currently due to lack of investment, can’t be processed in Takab", said Iranian lawmaker and representive of Takab, Mehdi Isazadeh.
