Minews - Sharif University and Swedish KTH to collaborate in steel industry

(Minews) - Sharif University of Technology is in negotiation with a knowledge based company affiliated with Sweden Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) for joint scientific collaboration in metals manufacturing industries.

Carry out joint scientific projects and do research to enhance economic and environmental aspects of metals manufacturing process and improving energy consumption were main subjects under negotiation.

Steel is one of the most important metals manufacturing industries in Iran that currently produces mostly ingots. Iran exports Steel ingots and imports steel products including billets with higher prices.
