Iran opens largest ferromanganese plant in the country
(Minews) - Iran's largest ferromanganese plant was opened in Jebal Barez near Anbar Abad city with an investment of 15 billion tomans.
In its first phase, the plant produces ferrochrome with capacity of 15,000 tonnes and in its second phase, it will produce ferromanganese with annual capacity of 15,000 tonnes.
In this regard, more than 15 mines are being explored to supply raw materials needed for the plant.
The most important market for products of the plant are steel making companies.
