Iran exported over 55,000 tonnes of aluminum in four months
Iran exported 55,500 tonnes of aluminum ingots in the first four months of this Iranian year which started on March 21.
Aluminum ingots exports valued at 97.4 million dollars in the first four months of this Iranian year, according to the latest Customs data.
However, aluminum ingots exports by weight and value declined 17.5 and 20.18 percent respectively during the first four months from the same period a year earlier.
Average price of 1 kilogram of aluminum was 1.8 dollar and it was 21th top non oil export during the period but it ranked fourth top export after iron ore, steel products and cement in mine and mining industries sector.
India, Turkey and Taiwan were biggest markets of Iranian aluminum with import of 29.3, 11.7 and 11.5 thousand tonnes respectively in the first four months of this Iranian year.
